The opening sections of every chapter are free to read online, no sign-in needed. Unlock all 17 chapters for $9 one-time, with no subscription. Premium also includes them.

Which A Math syllabus do the notes follow?

The SEAB O-Level Additional Mathematics syllabus 4049 (2026) and the SEC G3 Additional Mathematics syllabus K341 (2027), across its three strands: Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, and Calculus, in 17 chapters.

Is A Math the same as E Math?

No. Mathematics (E Math) and Additional Mathematics (A Math) are separate subjects, at both O-Level and SEC G3. These notes cover A Math only. For E Math, see our E-Math notes.

What is in each chapter?

Each chapter opens with a real-life scene, then teaches the syllabus outcomes one section at a time with worked examples, the formulas to memorise, the common mistakes that lose marks, and an exercise with answers you can reveal.

Does it cover calculus and trigonometry?

Yes. Calculus runs from the differentiation rules through stationary points, rates of change, integration, area under a curve and kinematics. Trigonometry covers functions and graphs, identities, equations, proofs and the R formula.
