1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using SGSchoolKaki ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SGSchoolKaki.
2. Service Description
SGSchoolKaki provides educational tools including PSLE/O-Level/A-Level calculators, school information, P1 registration guidance, and location-based school matching services. All information is provided for reference purposes and should not be considered as professional educational counseling or guaranteed admission outcomes.
3. User Accounts & Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 13 require parental consent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and up-to-date information. One person may not maintain multiple accounts.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to: (a) Use the Platform for illegal purposes, (b) Attempt to gain unauthorized access, (c) Interfere with Platform operations, (d) Scrape or copy content without permission, (e) Impersonate others or provide false information, (f) Upload malicious code or viruses, (g) Harass or abuse other users.
5. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by SGSchoolKaki or licensed to us. MOE (Ministry of Education) data is used with attribution and remains property of the Singapore Government. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee: (a) Accuracy of school data or cutoff points, (b) Success in school admissions, (c) Uninterrupted or error-free service, (d) Results from using our calculators. Official MOE sources should always be consulted for critical decisions.
7. Limitation of Liability
SGSchoolKaki shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for our services (currently free). This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for: (a) Violation of these Terms, (b) Fraudulent or illegal activity, (c) Prolonged inactivity, (d) Request for account deletion. You may delete your account at any time through account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
9. MOE Data & Attribution
School data, cutoff points, and education information are sourced from Singapore's Ministry of Education (MOE) and other official sources.
We provide attribution to MOE as the original source. Users must verify critical information with official MOE sources before making important decisions.
Data may be outdated or incomplete. We update regularly but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy.
10. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of content you post (forum comments, reviews, etc.).
You grant SGSchoolKaki a license to use, display, and distribute your content on the Platform.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is inappropriate.
You're responsible for the content you post and must not violate others' rights.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or Platform notification.
Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
It's your responsibility to review Terms periodically.
12. Third-Party Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (MOE, school websites, etc.).
We're not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or services.
Use of third-party services is at your own risk.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of SGSchoolKaki shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the Singapore courts and waive any objection to the venue.
