What does "Got Harder" mean for COP?

A school "got harder" when its COP decreased (lower number). Since COP = the PSLE AL score of the last student admitted, a lower COP means only students with better scores were admitted — increased competition.

What does "Got Easier" mean for COP?

A school "got easier" when its COP increased (higher number). This means students with slightly higher AL scores were admitted compared to the previous year.

How many schools changed COP in 2026?

7 schools got harder, 57 got easier, and 73 stayed the same out of 137 schools with year-over-year data.

How often do COP scores change?

COP scores are updated annually after each MOE Secondary 1 posting exercise. Changes reflect shifts in demand — more applicants means lower (harder) COP.
