Singapore's oldest polytechnic, with 34 diplomas across engineering, maritime, design and the arts. EAE applications open 25 Jun – 1 Jul 2026— SP's marine and aerospace programmes are among the most distinctive EAE routes in any Singapore polytechnic.
“SP is the only polytechnic in Singapore with a dedicated maritime faculty — if you're drawn to the sea, ports, or shipping logistics, no other institution comes close.”

Apply by 1 Jul 2026 — write-up due at the same time!
SP uses different assessment formats depending on the diploma. The exact format is confirmed in the EAE portal when you apply.
All applicants submit a 600-character write-up per course, explaining their passion and aptitude. SP shortlists based on write-up quality before inviting candidates to assessment.
Successful applicants receive conditional offers BEFORE O-Level results / final GPA. To convert to firm admission, you must still meet the polytechnic's Minimum Entry Requirements (MERs) for the course offered.
Keep it real — tell them why you actually want this course, not what you think they want to hear. 600 characters goes fast, so every sentence needs to count.
Write-up tip
