NP schedules portfolio reviews and interviews within this window. Media courses (Film, Mass Comm) require a creative portfolio — prepare early.
If you're going for Film or Mass Comm, get your portfolio ready early so you have something real to talk about at the interview.
EAE tip
NP uses different formats by school — media courses require portfolio review; business and accountancy lean on aptitude tests and interviews.
All applicants submit a 600-character write-up per course. NP shortlists based on write-up quality before inviting candidates to assessment.
Successful applicants receive conditional offers BEFORE O-Level results / final GPA. To convert to firm admission, you must still meet the polytechnic's Minimum Entry Requirements (MERs) for the course offered.
Be honest about why you want the course. If it's Film, tell them what you actually made before — even a short video on your phone is better than nothing.
