COP (Cut-Off Point)
The minimum aggregate score needed to qualify for a course. Lower COP = more competitive course.
ELR2B2
English + L1R2B2 aggregate calculation. Used by polytechnics for JAE admission scoring.
ELR2B2 Formula
English + 2 Relevant + 2 Best
Example: English A2(2) + Math A1(1) + Science A2(2) + POA B3(3) + Chinese B3(3) = 11 points
Lower is Better!
Just like PSLE AL scores, lower ELR2B2 scores are better. A course with COP 8-10 is more competitive than one with COP 20-26.

Have Safety Choices
Include 2-3 courses with higher COP (easier to enter) as backup options. Don't put all 12 choices on highly competitive courses!
