Tips for Visiting Open Houses

28 Feb is the Big Day — plan wisely

NTU, SMU, and SUSS all fall on 28 February, while NUS online runs from 28 Feb to 5 Mar. You can attend NUS webinars from home in the morning, then pick one physical campus to visit. SMU continues on 1 March if you want to do NTU/SUSS on Saturday and SMU on Sunday.

Pre-register for everything

Popular talks, sample classes, and campus tours fill up fast. Register early on each university's website. NTU offers an exclusive souvenir for pre-registrations. SMU gives goodie bags to the first 6,000 visitors.

Ask the right questions

Talk to current students, not just admissions staff. Ask about workload, internship experiences, campus culture, and what surprised them most. These honest answers matter more than brochures.

Compare beyond rankings

Each university has a different culture. NTU has a massive green campus. SMU is in the city centre. SUTD is project-based. SIT focuses on applied learning. SUSS serves working adults. Visit to feel the difference.
