poly student here - regret choosing poly over jc, grass always greener?

got 8 points for o levels which could get me into decent JC. chose poly instead cause thought more practical hands-on learning suits me better now in year 2 of poly and honestly having regrets. seeing my jc friends: - taking more "atas" intellectual subjects - seem to have more free time and flexibility - heading to university via more "direct" route (2 years jc + 3-4 years uni vs 3 years poly + 3-4 years uni) meanwhile im stuck with: - heavy project-based workload that doesnt feel particularl

got 8 points for o levels which could get me into decent JC. chose poly instead cause thought more practical hands-on learning suits me better now in year 2 of poly and honestly having regrets. seeing my jc friends: - taking more "atas" intellectual subjects - seem to have more free time and flexibility - heading to university via more "direct" route (2 years jc + 3-4 years uni vs 3 years poly + 3-4 years uni) meanwhile im stuck with: - heavy project-based workload that doesnt feel particularly valuable - internship was quite sian, mostly admin work not learning anything deep - worried about gpa and whether it enough to get into local uni dont get me wrong, poly not terrible. but starting to wonder if i made wrong choice. jc route might have been less stressful and more straightforward? or is this just me being stupid and grass always greener on other side syndrome? would probably be complaining about jc if i went jc instead lol anyone else chose poly over jc and regret it? or jc students who regret not going poly? really need perspective here
