currently j2 and seriously considering nus/ntu computer science for university im decent at math and science (taking h2 math, physics, chemistry) and did some basic coding for fun (python, some web dev). find it quite interesting and think i might want career in tech but EVERYONE keeps warning me that cs is super difficult, got people dropping out, failing, very stressful etc. now im second-guessing my choice main concerns: 1. how much coding you actually do in cs degree? is it mostly program
is computer science really as difficult as everyone says? j2 student considering cs

im decent at math and science (taking h2 math, physics, chemistry) and did some basic coding for fun (python, some web dev). find it quite interesting and think i might want career in tech
but EVERYONE keeps warning me that cs is super difficult, got people dropping out, failing, very stressful etc. now im second-guessing my choice
main concerns:
1. how much coding you actually do in cs degree? is it mostly programming or more theory?
2. do you need to be math genius to survive? my math is decent (prob getting B) but not outstanding
3. workload compared to engineering? heard both are heavy but which one worse?
4. job prospects after cs degree - is it really as good as everyone says or overhyped?
5. honestly is cs suitable for someone who "decent" at coding or need to be programming prodigy?
im choosing between cs, engineering, or maybe business (safe choice). really drawn to cs but worried i might be romanticizing it
would appreciate honest opinions from current cs students or grads. dont need sugar coating, tell me the reality
