just realized we messed up and didnt accumulate enough volunteer hours for phase 2b priority my wife and i both work full time and frankly just forgot about this whole volunteer hour thing until now. daughter going to p1 next year and we only have like 10 hours of volunteering at the school MOE website says need 40 hours. if we quickly volunteer now (phase 2b registration in 3 months), got chance or too obvious we last minute? also is 40 hours the minimum or more hours = better chances? really kicking myself for not planning this earlier. should have known singapore education system requires this kind of forward planning 🤦‍♂️ any advice on whether we should: 1. quickly accumulate volunteer hours now (will it help or too late?) 2. just forget phase 2b and go straight to phase 2c balloting? 3. try to get volunteer hours at another school that we less interested in just to secure phase 2b somewhere?
