π― Choose Your Pathway: JC vs Poly vs ITE
This is one of the biggest decisions you'll make! Each pathway offers unique advantages. Here's what you need to know:
Junior College / MI
2-year A-Level pathway to university
- Direct path to local universities
- Broad academic foundation
- Strong in theory & research
Polytechnic
3-year diploma with industry focus
- Hands-on, practical learning
- Industry internships built-in
- Can progress to university
ITE
Skills-based technical education
- Career-ready skills training
- Can progress to polytechnic
- Strong industry partnerships
Pro Tip
Don't just chase "prestige"! The best pathway is one that aligns with your interests, learning style, and career goals. A motivated student in the right environment always outperforms a disengaged student in a "top" school.
