To the A-Level Class of 2025

Hey buddy,

We see you. The one who stayed up past midnight memorizing GP essays. The one who gave up weekends, birthday parties, and lazy Sunday afternoons for two whole years. The one who carried the weight of expectations — your own, your family's, maybe even the whole kampung's — on your shoulders.

Whether you walked out of your JC gates for the last time or sat alone in an exam hall as a private candidate, you showed up. You tried. That already makes you brave.

Now, results day is coming. And we know it feels like everything.

But here's something we need you to understand — really understand, not just hear:

"When one door closes, another opens. But we often look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has opened for us."

— Alexander Graham Bell

Your A-Level score is a snapshot of a few stressful days. It doesn't capture your creativity when solving real problems. It doesn't show your kindness to friends who were struggling. It doesn't measure your resilience when life got hard, or that spark in your eyes when you talk about something you truly love.

You are infinitely more than a number.

🌟 If your results exceed expectations: Celebrate! 🎉 You earned this. But remember — choose paths that excite you, not just the most "atas" ones. The best course is the one where you'll actually want to wake up for morning lectures.

💙 If your results meet expectations: Solid lah. You're in the game. Apply to all 6 local unis — yes, all 6. Look at courses you never considered before. You have about 4 weeks. Don't waste it scrolling TikTok.

❤️ If your results fall short: Breathe. Cry if you need to — it's okay. Then, when you're ready, look up. Poly grads become startup founders. Private uni students become regional directors. Gap year takers find passions they never knew existed. It's just a piece of paper. It doesn't know who you are.

Singapore's most successful people include those who failed exams, changed paths, and took the "unconventional" route. What they had wasn't perfect grades — it was grit, adaptability, and the courage to keep going.

So on results day, whatever that piece of paper says — that's all it is. A piece of paper. It tells you which doors to knock on first. It doesn't tell you who you are, what you can become, or where life will take you.

Your worth is not your grades.
Your future is not one exam.
You are more than this.

To the ones who exceeded — don't let it get to your head.
To the ones who met expectations — keep going, you got this.

🌟
💜
💪
🔥

To the ones who fell short —This is not the end. It's just a detour.

Some of the best views come from the scenic route. You will reach your destination — just through a different path. Maybe poly. Maybe private uni. Maybe a gap year to figure things out. Maybe something you haven't even thought of yet.

The people who change the world aren't always the ones with perfect grades. They're the ones who refused to give up.

That can be you. 🚀

All the very best for results day. 🎓

With warmth, hope, and belief in each one of you,

— The SGSchoolKaki Team 💜

A-Level holders can apply directly for diploma courses, especially in specialized fields.

  • • Hands-on, industry-focused
  • • Can progress to university
  • • Some courses only at polys

Private Universities

SIM, Kaplan, PSB Academy offer degrees from reputable overseas universities.

  • • Lower entry requirements
  • • Recognized overseas degrees
  • • Flexible schedules

Overseas Universities

UK, Australia, US universities may have different entry criteria.

  • • Holistic admissions
  • • Unique course offerings
  • • Global exposure

Gap Year

Take time to explore, work, volunteer, or prepare for retakes.

  • • Gain career clarity
  • • Build experience
  • • Males: Complete NS first

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:When are A-Level results 2026 released?

A-Level results 2026 are confirmed for Friday, 27 February 2026 at 2:30 PM. Students collect results from their respective JCs. In 2025, results were released on 21 February.

Q:How do I calculate my UAS score?

New 70-point system (2026): Best 3 H2 subjects (max 60) + GP (max 10) = 70 points max. PW is Pass/Fail only. 4th H1 or MTL included only if they improve your score (rebased to 70 scale). Use our A-Level calculator for accurate calculations.

Q:What is a good A-Level rank point score?

Under the new 70-point system: 65-70 is excellent (Medicine, Law), 55-64 is very good (most NUS/NTU/SMU courses), 45-54 is good (many options), below 45 still has university and polytechnic pathways.
